Short Version For Those Who Have Other Things To Do

Spike's going into surgery at 1 PM on Tuesday.

The docs think they can remove the seizure focal point without causing permanent loss of motor function.

By far, the biggest day of his life and mine.

  1. My son's neurosurgeon, on the morning he was heading into surgery (first time we'd been introduced, but she had been in on almost all conference about him), told us her name, then looked at Allen and asked "Are you ready to stop having seizures?"

My kind of person--get 'er done. Worked for us, and I pray it will work for you as well.

My guess is as soon as the anesthesia wears off, which won't be long, he'll be up and around.
